Birds

Pet birds make delightful companion pets. They are known to be highly social, intelligent, and fun when interacting, especially the types of birds who are able to mimic the sound of a human talking. With the commitment from their owner to enrich their life with regular mental and environmental enrichment and stimulation, birds bond deeply with their human family and enrich our lives ten-fold with their sweet, attentive nature. Maintaining the cleanliness of their enclosure is a lot of work --- birds are messy. However, aside from occasional "faucet" baths (safely allowing your bird to enjoy water falling from a sink faucet), birds don't require a lot of hands-on grooming. We normally have parakeets, canaries, and cockateils available for sale, yet the show stopper is our lively and super interactive store bird --- Freckles the Cockatoo! Keep your ear open for skillful whistles and random comments coming from our bird room!
